Lanna Tramp (center) with daughters Halee and Kayden

Lanna Tramp has always enjoyed channeling her creative skills into making candy bouquets and wreaths, marketing them at craft shows and vendor fairs in northeast Nebraska.

This week she’s taken the step to open her own business, Sweet Treats Bouquets and More, located on Second Street in downtown Crofton.

Tramp felt that there was a need for a business in Crofton where people could purchase unique gifts and flowers and plants for special occasions. Her inventory includes hand-made wreaths, candy bouquets, wind chimes, balloons, coffee mugs, wrist key holders, many with themes which can be religious or seasonal and everything in between.

Tramp’s gifts are available for all ages with some hard-to-find items such as prayer journals. She plans to have flowers available for prom attendees and gradually handle flowers for weddings. Tramp states with a smile that she’ll be providing the flowers for a niece who’s being married in September.

The open house for Sweet Treat Bouquets & More took place on Saturday, February 1 with many Crofton residents stopping by to explore the merchandise and register for a drawing. Tramp’s daughters Kayden and Halee were on hand to greet visitors and help with purchases.

Business hours are Tuesday – Thursday 1:00-5:00, Friday 4:00-7:00 and Saturday 9:30-5:00. The shop will be closed Sunday and Monday.
