Mallory Mauer pushes a tip over

The Plainview Pirates had a competitive week of contests beginning on Tuesday, Oct. 15 and finishing on Tuesday, Oct. 22, with two matches being a part of the inaugural Greater Northeast Activities Conference (GNAC) Tournament.

In their most recent matchup, the Pirates took on the Hartington-Newcastle Wildcats in the consolation bracket of the GNAC tournament on Tuesday, Oct. 22.

After going 2-2 over the course of the past week, the Plainview Lady Pirates have officially finished their regular season with a record of 12-15.

Plainview will now get a much-deserved break before they compete in the Class D1 Subdistrict 4 tournament on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 28 and 29. Plainview’s first-round postseason opponent and the location of the tournament are yet-to-be-determined.
