The family of Lois Stueckrath has requested a card shower in honor of her 90th birthday on April 25.
Cards will reach Stueckrath at: Whispering Pines Assisted Living, PO Box 219, Plainview, NE 68769.
The family would like to have everyone help her celebrate 90 years of blessings.

The Plainview Ag Department and Plainview FFA Chapter will be hosting its annual greenhouse open house and plant sale for a number of days at the end of April and beginning of May.
On April 29, 30, May 1 and May 6-7 the FFA and Ag members will open the greenhouse for the public to purchase plants, vegetables ready for planting, flowers and flowering baskets with proceeds going to the Plainview FFA Department.
On Fridays the greenhouse will be open from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Adryck Stewart, a 6th grader at Plainview Elementary, recently traveled to represent the Plainview Pirates and Nebraska, at the National AAU Middle School Dual Wrestling tournament in Des Moines, Iowa as a member of the “Nebraska Black” team. The team finished in third at the dual tournament, and Stewart wrestled with a 6-2 record, earning All-American Honors.
